PBB Collab 3.0 Day 8 Recap: The Secret Task Finale, a Halloween Birthday Party, and the JeoLee Chismis

PBB Collab 3.0 housemates in Halloween costumes at the Day 8 birthday party

Day 8 of PBB Collab Edition 3.0 (the official upload is labeled October 30, 2026) was the payoff episode. The aswang task from Day 7 turned into a full Halloween birthday party, Robbie and Mikee finally finished their secret task, and the episode closed with two housemates gossiping about Jeo and Gehlee. Here’s the whole PBB Collab 3.0 Day 8 recap, with timestamps so you can find each scene. For the official full episode, watch on the Pinoy Big Brother YouTube channel.

1. The birthday girls passed (9:18)

Kuya confirmed that Lans and Shea succeeded in scaring the housemates, so they earned their handa from the Halloween menu. Before changing out of their aswang look, Kuya gave them one last perk: a dance from the housemates. The full birthday story is in Lans and Shea’s birthday party post.

After the screaming of Day 7, this felt like the house exhaling. We liked that Kuya didn’t drag it out. The girls did the work, they got the reward, end of story.

It’s also a good pattern for the season. When Kuya ties a reward to effort, the house gets more creative. Remember that the aswang idea came from Lans and Shea asking for a Halloween party in the first place. They asked, they worked for it, and they got it.

2. Kuya’s final secret mission (11:20 to 25:20)

Robbie and Mikee had to place a miniature Bahay ni Kuya made of popsicle sticks on top of the weekly task tower without anyone noticing. Getting caught would cut the ₱10,000 they’re earning for charity. They planned in the kitchen (“I will just feel it out. I got you.”), used a kumot and a bathrobe as cover, and waited for the right moment. When the housemates found the house, nobody knew who made it: “Guys, sinong kumuha nito?” “It’s popsicle sticks.” The full breakdown is in Robbie and Mikee’s secret task post.

This was the best-edited segment of the week. Split between the confession room and the actual sneaking, it played like a mini heist movie. And the payoff, a room full of confused housemates holding a tiny house, was genuinely funny.

One thing we noticed: no one accused anyone. Either the house really has no idea, or some of them are keeping their suspicions to themselves. We’d bet on the second.

For Robbie and Mikee, this is the end of a long arc. They’ve been secret collaborators since Day 5, and every time it looked like someone might catch on, they adjusted. If Kuya keeps the kakollab twist going with new housemates, they’ve set a high bar.

3. Party prep and the hosts (17:25 to 20:35)

Kuya asked the boys and girls how they’d make the birthday girls happy, and both groups prepared performances. Gehlee and Nathan were named hosts of the program, and they asked Winwyn and Robbie to help plan the flow. Bela, meanwhile, asked Kuya for alak.

4. The costume party (25:30 to 30:50)

Everyone showed up in costume, Nathan and Gehlee introduced each housemate, and the boys and girls each performed. Calix’s red and gold royal costume was a standout, and the girls came in leis and colorful party outfits.

The costume party is where you see who’s comfortable in the house. The ones who committed fully, wigs and all, are clearly settling in. A week ago, half of them were strangers.

Gehlee and Nathan also deserve credit as hosts. Keeping fourteen costumed, excited housemates in order is not easy, and they kept the program moving. That’s a quiet audition for future tasks that need a leader.

5. Balut night (31:00 to 35:15)

Shea spotted it first: “There’s a balut!” Nicole was hesitant, and later said it tasted nice but she just didn’t like what it was. Anthony said he wanted to enjoy his, and the boys made a “balut shot” out of it. Details are in the Day 8 funny moments.

It’s a cliché to make foreign-raised housemates eat balut. But the reactions here were honest, not mean, and nobody was forced. That’s the right way to do it.

It also says something about the house that everyone gathered around to cheer instead of tease. Food challenges can get mean fast. This one stayed kind.

If you’re keeping score on who’s adapting fastest, the balut table was a quiet test. The housemates who tried it with a laugh, even if they didn’t love it, came off as good sports. That kind of thing sticks with viewers more than any task win.

6. Birthday messages and Kuya’s announcement (35:30 to 38:00)

The housemates gave their messages to Lans and Shea, including “Never ever dim your light, no matter what happens.” Then Kuya told everyone that the miniature house they found is the one that will be placed on top of their tower.

7. The JeoLee chismis (38:10)

Over the end credits, Cianne and Shea talked about Jeo and Gehlee. Cianne said Jeo is “naturally maasikaso,” and asked Shea how she knew Jeo “likes” Gehlee. Shea said Primo had said “Cute nila no.” Cianne’s read: “Kaya hindi naman bet ni Gehlee (si Jeo).” We’ve added this to our Jeo and Gehlee post.

Notice how this is all secondhand. Nobody heard Jeo or Gehlee say anything. It’s Cianne and Shea interpreting Primo’s teasing. So, chismis, not confirmation. But it does show the JeoLee “ship” is now a house-wide topic.

We’re putting a big asterisk on the last line, too. “Hindi naman bet ni Gehlee” is Cianne’s reading of the situation, not Gehlee’s words. We’ll keep tracking it, but we won’t treat it as a fact until one of them says something on camera.

Our take on PBB Collab 3.0 Day 8

Day 8 was a reset. After a week of nerves, the house got a party, and Kuya’s two collaborators got their win.

What we’ll be watching next: whether the party mood holds once nominations enter the picture. Parties build friendships, and friendships make nomination night harder. That’s when Day 8 will really start to matter. The next big question is the tower itself: the miniature house is going on top, so the weekly task is close to the finish line. Want to know what comes after the tasks?

And since this was the first truly relaxed episode, it’s a good time to check who’s quietly becoming a fan favorite. For us, it’s the people who made the party happen: the hosts, the performers, and the two collaborators who pulled off a heist in the background. Read our voting guide and how nominations work.
