If there’s one part of PBB I never skip, it’s the confession room. In front of the housemates, you can pretend. But when it’s just you and Kuya in that chair, something different comes out.
In the Day 3 full episode of Pinoy Big Brother Collab Edition 3.0 (October 26, 2026), they went back to the first night, when Kuya talked to the housemates one by one. The result? A mix of kilig, laughs, and a few answers that really hit me.
Bela and the “medyo tabingi” nose

The first thing Bela told Kuya: she was overwhelmed, as in “overwhelmed with ED.” Just a few weeks ago, she was peeling oranges in Japan. Now she’s in the confession room.
Then Kuya brought up what he’d overheard from the girls earlier. Bela admitted she got her nose done in May, when she came home to the Philippines after three and a half years. She saved up for it for three years. It’s still a little crooked, maybe still swollen, but she’s happy.
Kuya’s answer? He doesn’t see it as crooked. This is the kind of honesty I love in a housemate. No arte, no hiya, and with a side of “I worked hard for this.”
“Jef Ong,” who turned out to be Jeo
Kuya asked who the most handsome boy was. Her description: the content creator who always says “I got this, I got this,” wearing a bandana. His name was “Ong… Jef Ong?” Kuya corrected her: she probably meant Jeo. In the same conversation, Robbie became “Kobie.” She admitted she’s bad with names, and honestly, I relate.
Ethan and Kuya’s AI bathroom

If you read our house tour post, you already know the new house is high-tech. For Ethan, Kuya is “big time” now because there’s an AI system even in the toilet and the faucet. It was his first time seeing a toilet like that, like Japanese smart technology, and he even asked himself how to flush it.
Before that, Kuya talked to Jeo. He said he was looking for a new experience, and he’d already learned so much on day one: living in one house with all kinds of different people is a whole other thing.
Gehlee, meanwhile, is obsessed with Nicole‘s British accent. She even imitated it in the confession room. She’s been trying to speak English so she can talk to Nicole and help her with a few things. The line she apparently used: “I’ve been there in Tagbilaran.” I don’t know why, but that’s what made me laugh the hardest in the whole segment.
Nicole admits not knowing Tagalog is a disadvantage
Nicole’s answer here was really good. Everything is new to her, and not speaking Filipino is a real disadvantage. But she wants to learn fast so she won’t be a burden to others. That’s why she joined: some opportunities you just can’t say no to, and she knows her values and intentions even if Kuya’s house is called “make or break.”
Lans, Primo and “Hello, toilet!”
Lans thought everything would be awkward. But after just one night, it felt like they’d known each other for days. She’s closest to Raheel, she said, because he’s the only one who talks to her in Tagalog while most of the others are English speakers. She also already knew Primo before going in, so she felt relieved when she saw him.
They had the same reaction to the bathroom, by the way. The toilet has a woman’s voice, so you can say “Hello, toilet!” Kuya’s comeback: maybe that’s the 17th housemate. This is the Kuya I love, the one with timing.
Primo, on the other hand, was super honest. He really didn’t want to join. A friend just pushed him while they were on a call, and he had nothing else going on at the time. But there’s a bonus: free place to live, free sleep, and free food. “Dito na lang ako titira!” (I’ll just live here, then!) The most Primo answer you could ever hear.
Shea, Winwyn and Mikee: the answers with weight

This is where the confession room got serious.
- Shea: her parents are a bit strict, but she understands them. So this is a big step for her and her family. She wants to get to know herself better.
- Winwyn: when she found out the other housemates’ ages, she remembered what people used to say: why would she still join, she already has a kid. But she’s still within the age limit and her husband supports her. “Kung hindi ngayon, kailan pa?” (If not now, when?)
- Mikee: this has been her dream since she was a kid. During dinner, she kept blinking because she couldn’t believe she wasn’t just watching it on TV anymore. She said this is the “right version of Mikee” for Kuya’s house.
For me, Winwyn’s line wins. So many moms tell themselves “I’m done with that.” It’s so nice to see one who said not yet.
Another housemate said they studied architecture for ten years, so they immediately noticed how the rooms were laid out. The video didn’t make it clear who it was, so I won’t guess.
Why these answers matter
It’s only the first night, but there are already patterns. The language barrier is a big theme: Nicole with Tagalog, Lans with English, and Raheel as the bridge. Let’s see who becomes the house’s “translator.”
And if you remember Robbie’s ukulele clue, pay attention to Mikee’s answer here. I won’t spoil it yet. Just read our memory box post.
Whose answer stuck with you? Me, I’m solid Team “Hello, toilet.”
Our analysis: what the confession room is telling us
The three themes of the first night
- Language barrier. Nicole with Tagalog, Lans with English. The housemates who become the “bridge” will naturally earn everyone’s trust.
- Honesty. Bela and her nose, Primo and the “free food.” In PBB, the housemates who don’t pretend in the confession room are usually the ones viewers end up liking.
- Family. Winwyn, Shea and Mikee. All three carried the weight of family into the house. We thought they’d have the deepest stories in the coming weeks, and we were right, because of the memory box sharing.
Prediction: who will be the house “translator”?
Our vote: Raheel, based on Lans saying he’s the one who talks to her in Tagalog. A role like this is quiet, but it’s a big investment inside the house.
Nomination watch
It’s still way too early for real odds. But based on the confession room, most of them seem more comfortable than expected. When bonding happens this early, the first nominations are often based on small things: house chores and task performance. So next week, let’s watch who’s hardworking in the kitchen.
Compared to other seasons
In past seasons, crush reveals that turned into loveteams often started in the confession room. Bela’s “Jef Ong”? Maybe this is the first ship of Collab 3.0. Or maybe it’s just a joke. We’ll keep watching.
