JeoLee fans, this one’s for you. On Day 12 of PBB Collab Edition 3.0, Jeo and Gehlee were paired for a screen test for the Verti Drama weekly task, and their scene made the task leaders’ top three. To be clear from the start: this was an acted scene from an audition script, not a real confession. But the house’s reactions were real, and so was the chemistry people saw. Timestamps are from the official full episode on YouTube.
The setup (8:16)
For the Verti Drama weekly task, leaders Calix and Winwyn wrote a short confession scene and picked pairs to audition for the lead roles. The on-screen list showed Raheel and Mikee, Nathan and Bela, Jeo and Shea, Ethan and Gehlee, Jeo and Gehlee, Calix and Gehlee, and Primo and Bela. That means Jeo auditioned twice, and Gehlee three times.
Gehlee being picked for three pairings says a lot. The leaders clearly saw her as a strong romantic lead option.
And Jeo getting two pairings, one with Shea and one with Gehlee, made him the most tested leading man of the day. No pressure.
For JeoLee fans who have followed them since the early days, seeing the leaders pair them on purpose felt like a small win.
“Jelly, busy ka?” (14:43)
The scene opened with Jeo approaching Gehlee. “Jelly, busy ka?” She said no and asked if there was a problem. He said he had something important to tell her. She teased that he was just messing with her: “Niloloko mo ako eh.”
The script was the same for every pair, but the delivery made each version different. Jeo played it shy and hesitant, which suits the role.
Gehlee’s playful “niloloko mo ako” gave the scene a light, teasing rhythm. It felt less like a script and more like banter.
“Gusto kita” (15:11)
Then came the line every pair had to say. “Gusto ko lang sanang sabihin sayo na, Jelly, gusto kita.” The scene continued with the script’s next beats: why only now, and “Nahiya ako sayo eh.” Then the reply: “Matagal na rin kitang gusto.”
Calling her “Jelly” inside the scene, the house’s nickname for her, is a nice personal touch. It made the line feel less like a script.
“Nahiya ako sayo” is the most relatable part of any confession. Shy is cute. The house agreed, based on the noise.
We’ll repeat it for fairness: these are scripted lines. What fans can enjoy is how natural they made them look.
A pause and a retry (16:03)
Mid-scene, someone apologized and the line had to be repeated: “Ano ulit?” “Gusto kita.” “Tagal na.” The scene ended with a few more improvised lines before the cut.
A small stumble, and they kept going. That’s exactly the skill a live vertical drama needs.
Live theater rule number one: if something goes off, stay in it. They did.
The house reacts (16:23)
The rest of the house was watching from the living room, and the screams were loud. Right after the scene, a housemate praised it: “Galing galing galing. When she turned around and smile. Naku. OMG.”
This is the part we can call real kilig. Not the script, but the house screaming and someone singling out Gehlee’s smile.
“When she turned around and smile” is the most specific compliment of the day. Someone was paying close attention.
Top three (16:44)
After the screen tests, the leaders announced their top three: Primo and Bela, Jeo and Shea, and Jeo and Gehlee. The house then voted Primo and Bela as the leads. JeoLee didn’t win the lead roles, but making the top three out of all the pairs is a real achievement.
Top three is a strong showing. The leaders explained they wanted pairs who could carry a live show, and JeoLee made that shortlist.
We’d love to see them get a scene in the final Verti Drama, even a small one. The chemistry is already proven on camera.

Thank you for your service, Primo.
The Primo shout-out is a nod to his wingman era, which we covered in our earlier JeoLee post. The fandom does not forget a good assist.
I’m very happy that Jeo and Gehlee exist in this generation for young kids to look up to. In a generation where everyone is so into instant gratification, here we are enjoying their slow-burn moments 🥹❤️

“Slow-burn” is the right word. Most of JeoLee so far is small moments, and that is exactly why fans are hooked.

We agree. Ship them, root for them, but keep it kind. That goes for every housemate.
Our take on the JeoLee screen test
Let’s keep it honest: this was acting, and we’re not claiming anything beyond that. But a good screen test needs comfort and trust between partners, and these two clearly had it.
For JeoLee fans, Day 12 gives you a clip to rewatch and a top three badge. That’s a good day.
