PBB Collab 3.0 Day 5 Weekly Task Recap: The Big Foundation, Cianne and Raheel as Leaders, and the Tower’s First Fall

Not every housemate had a big storyline of their own on Day 5 of PBB Collab Edition 3.0 (October 28, 2026). But there were so many small moments worth talking about. Here’s the roundup of everything that happened outside the secret mission of Mikee and Robbie.

Morning: supplies in the elevator and arm wrestling

Before bed, Kuya reminded Primo that the daily supplies would come through the elevator, but it would only be open for a short time. So the next morning, Winwyn immediately positioned herself near the elevator. When it opened, everyone passed things along in a chain. “Good job, housemates!”

After that, Jeo taught the boys something: an arm wrestling technique. Get your hand on the inside, chase the wrist, wait for your opponent to get tired. But when he faced Anthony, Anthony never got tired. “He’s really too strong!” said Raheel. Sometimes technique loses to strength, and that’s okay.

Cianne and Raheel: the first weekly task leaders

Kuya called Cianne and Raheel into the confession room. Cianne was nervous, she had a feeling she was about to be handed a big responsibility. She was right: they’re the first weekly task leaders. “I knew it!”

The mechanics of The Big Foundation

  • A tower four feet tall, standing and balanced on a narrow platform.
  • Eight pairs, each with the same number of blocks.
  • Only one pair can touch the tower at a time, and they have to use up all their blocks before the next pair goes.
  • At the end, a miniature PBB house goes on top.

The group immediately counted and split up the blocks. Raheel was the one who spotted an extra block: “I think this is nine.” If you remember the Big Coin task, they’re way more organized now.

Anthony and Primo’s spiral plan

As it got taller, the tower started leaning. That’s when Anthony stepped in with a new plan. He loves building things; he built his first computer when he was a kid. The idea: place the blocks in a spiral to spread the pressure across different points, and align each block with the one below it. Primo and the other pairs followed.

One more funny detail: one housemate apparently put on heels to get a little taller.

The fall on the seventh pair

By the seventh pair, Calix and Ethan, everyone was struggling because some blocks were no longer level. Ethan placed his, “Nice, Ethan!”, and then the tower suddenly collapsed. “How did that happen?”

Calix’s reaction was so good: he wasn’t the one who knocked it down, but he felt bad because he and Ethan were a team. And the group? “It’s okay. We’re all still learning.” There was even applause. This is exactly what I want to see in the first week.

Other moments

  • In the garden, Nathan had Cianne crack his back, since she apparently knows how to pop joints. Turns out Nathan is ticklish.
  • At night, “God is good, all the time” was the boys’ bedtime line, and “Pinoy Ako” was the alarm again.
  • In the teaser for tomorrow, there’s a birthday surprise for Shea.

Fan take

It’s only the first weekly task, but you can already see who the natural leader is, who the strategist is, and who knows how to take a loss. Let’s see if they can finish the tower, and whether anyone will notice the miniature house that’s supposed to go on top.

Our analysis: first weekly task, first test

Leaders report card

  • Cianne: calm and organized. Her “I knew it!” in the confession room showed she was ready for the responsibility.
  • Raheel: the one who spotted the extra block. Detail-oriented, not loud. Being a leader suits him.

The fall: who’s to blame?

Looking at the footage, no single person caused it. The tower was already leaning before the seventh pair. We think the real problem was changing the plan in the middle of the task: Mikee’s pattern first, then Anthony’s spiral. Two good ideas, but not at the same time.

Prediction

Our guess is the next attempt will go better. They understand the weight of the blocks now and what uneven layers do. The question: will the “We’re all still learning” attitude survive once the budget is on the line?

Compared to other seasons

In PBB, the first weekly task often decides who gets “trusted” in the tasks that follow. If they win, Cianne and Raheel become the go-to leaders. If they lose, people might start seeing them differently.

Poll

*Will they finish the tower?* Our vote: yes, on the second attempt, as long as they stick to one plan.
