Kuya moved to a new house this season, and honestly, I was just as excited as the housemates while watching. In the Day 2 episode of PBB Collab 3.0, there’s a whole segment (around 15:33 to 23:09) that feels like you’re tagging along on the tour of the bagong bahay ni Kuya. Here’s what stuck with me the most.
Girls’ bedroom: pink, mirrors, and “can we pick now?”
The girls went straight to their room first (15:45). All “Wow!” and “There are so many mirrors!” Then came the question we all know: can they pick their beds now, or should they wait for Kuya? So cute how considerate they were on the first night. That will definitely change once nominations come, but let’s enjoy it for now.
Boys’ room: “God is good, all the time”
The boys were on a different level. While picking beds (around 16:43), they came up with a chant: “God is good!” “All the time!” Then they turned it into a challenge, they have to do it every time they wake up, up to ten times. I don’t know if this will last until the third week, but as a room tradition, it’s fun.
Bonus: one guy got shocked when what he thought was a wall turned out to be a cabinet. Relatable.
The smart kitchen and the “credit card” vegetable
Some of the boys immediately noticed that it’s a “smart home” and there are brands everywhere you look (16:18). One even joked that something in the kitchen was so big, like a “huge credit card.” “Or debit card,” another added. I’m not sure what they were actually talking about, but their laughter was real.
Cianne and Lans vs. the smart sink
This is my favorite scene of the whole segment (17:38). Cianne and Lans were fascinated by Kuya’s new sink. They looked for the soap, pressed something, turned something… then suddenly the water stopped. “Big Brother, there’s no water!”
The twist? Someone had turned it earlier, which shut it off. “Ah! I twisted this earlier,” she said, admitting it was her fault. A simple moment, but these are the scenes that show you who the housemates are: no trying to look cool, just owning up right away. Even host Gabbi said she was proud of Kuya’s “advanced technology sink.”
There’s a sauna in the garden!
Yes, a sauna (19:08). I couldn’t believe it either, just like them. “We can get sweaty, yay!” But they noticed something too: no sunlight comes in. One even predicted there might be an inflatable pool in the garden by next month. Let’s see if she’s right.
In the bathrooms, there’s something automatic (19:47), and the “Automatic!” reaction is enough to tell you it’s high-tech too.
The girls’ bed picks and the Queen Mother
Back to the girls’ room (19:51). One housemate wanted the spot next to the door so she could get out fast in an emergency, and she said she always wakes up before the alarm because she has a four-year-old. She’ll be the one waking everyone up. She naturally became the ate of the house right away.
There was also a small “agawan” moment over one bed that ended in laughter and “No! No! It’s okay!” No drama, just jokes. I hope they’re still like this by Day 30.
Winwyn and her 4-year-old
This is where the emotions came in (21:37). Winwyn, who Gabbi called the “Queen Mother,” shared that even before auditions came out, she was already telling her daughter she’d join PBB and be gone for a few months. To manifest it, she said. Now it’s her daughter asking, “Are you going to the PBB house?”
The longest they’d ever been apart was six days, during a work trip to Japan, and even then they’d video call about ten times a day. Now, nothing. Her consolation: her daughter can watch her on TV. She also thanked her husband.
“Guys, it’s just the first day!” she said, already tearing up. Me too, Win. Me too.
Why this house tour matters
For me, this wasn’t just a flex of the new house. This is where you saw their personalities: the boys with their own ritual, the girls looking out for each other, and Winwyn becoming the ate of the house right away. When the tasks and nominations come, we’ll look back at these simple scenes to understand why some of them got close.

Our analysis: how the house will affect the game
In PBB, the house isn’t just a background. Every season, some parts of the house become “scenes”: the garden for deep talks, the kitchen for tampuhan, the confession room for honesty. In this new house, there are a few things we think will matter.
Three spots we’ll be watching
- The kitchen and the smart sink. With lots of gadgets, lots can go wrong. Small kitchen mishaps are often where the first irritation in the house starts.
- The sauna in the garden. It’s a new spot for private conversations. Wherever there’s a quiet corner, that’s usually where alliances form.
- The bed spots. Winwyn chose the bed near the door for her “nanay mode.” A small detail, but it shows she sees herself as a caretaker. We think that ate role will be hers all season.
Prediction
Our guess: within two weeks, a house rule or an item in the house will cause the first tampuhan. Not because the housemates are bad people, but because sixteen people, one kitchen, and limited time is the equation.
Compared to other seasons
In past seasons, the house always had a “signature” spot fans remember. We think the sauna will be the signature spot of Collab 3.0. It’s brand new, so there are no stories attached to it yet. Let’s see who has the first serious conversation there.
