PBB Collab 3.0 Day 2 Recap: Which of the 16 Housemates Clicked on the First Night?

Bela, Anthony, Cianne at Primo sa pagpasok nila sa bahay ni Kuya sa PBB Collab 3.0 Day 2

I’ll admit it: my favorite part of every new season isn’t the tasks or the nominations. It’s the first meeting. The awkward “Hi, what’s your name again?” over and over. Because that’s where you first see who naturally gets along with people, who’s nervous, and who looks like they’ll be trouble (joke lang, it’s only Day 2).

In the Day 2 full episode of Pinoy Big Brother Collab Edition 3.0 (October 25, 2026), almost the entire first 15 minutes was exactly that. The 16 housemates entered the house in batches of four. Here’s my take on each group.

Batch 1: Bela, Anthony, Cianne and Primo, already chatting in the elevator

They hadn’t even seen the house yet, and the kwentuhan already started inside the elevator (around 1:00). This is where we learned that Bela came from Japan as an OFW, near Osaka, working in food processing, mostly fruit. So that’s why she’s so used to peeling oranges!

Anthony was the highlight of this batch for me. He’s 6’1″, so one of the girls joked that he’s like a “small tree.” He’s full Filipino but grew up in the US, and he’s only been in the Philippines for two years; that was actually his first time here. But the line that stuck with me: his heart is already here in the Philippines. So nice to hear that from someone who just recently came home to his roots.

There was another fun scene (5:06) where they tried to pronounce “nakakapagpabagabag.” Nobody got it right. Host Bianca had to correct them. Classic.

Primo, the vlogger who didn’t want to be a seaman

In Primo and Anthony’s chat (around 3:23), we found out he’s been making content for 10 years. He was inspired by a 12-minute vlog when he was a kid, and that’s when he decided he didn’t want to be a seaman anymore. He wants to make people happy. It might sound cliché coming from someone else, but from Primo it feels real.

Batch 2: Shea, Robbie, Nicole and Raheel, a bit awkward at first

The second batch had a different energy (6:23). Even Bianca admitted they looked awkward. The editors even added a cricket sound effect, grabe.

But it warmed up fast. Nicole grew up in England and now lives in Bohol. She’s only had six tutor lessons in Tagalog, so expect a lot of “Ahh! Ahh.” moments from her. Shea is from San Mateo, Rizal, and Cianne is from Antipolo, so instant “Long live the Rizalenas!” I don’t know who yelled it first, but I laughed.

“Pretty and sure”

There was also a moment where one of the girls said she was “pretty sure,” followed by a joke that she was “pretty and sure.” Then someone commented that Shea’s answer sounded so “pageant-like.” The season hadn’t even started and there was already a meme.

Raheel’s Olympic dreams

On the boys’ side, Primo and Raheel had a chat (around 9:45). Primo even called Raheel “big bro,” which got a “no need” in response. Raheel is a boxer, and his dream: to make it to the Olympics. He admitted it’s ambitious, but like they said, trust God and go with the flow. This looks like one of the storylines I’ll be following.

Batch 3: Mikee, Jeo, Gehlee and Ethan

Graphic: Sa Bahay ni Kuya

The third batch came in around 10:36. Jeo and Ethan talked about Palawan and Bacolod, beaches, hiking and camping. Ethan grew up on football before switching to basketball, then volleyball, tennis and pickleball too. So many sports, bro.

But the real fangirl moment: Bela, starstruck by Gehlee of UNIS (12:07). “Can I shake your hand?” Then the conversation moved to dimples; Gehlee apparently only has one. Wholesome.

Batch 4: Calix, Winwyn, Nathan and Lans

The last ones in were Calix, Winwyn, Nathan and Lans (12:57). In the elevator alone, Winwyn was already saying “Call me Ate Win,” and someone said they had watched the others’ content before going in, and that’s the kind of content they’d want their kid to watch. Straight into “content should have value” talk. I love conversations like that on the very first night.

When the door opened, screaming. “It’s Miss Winwyn!” Then Bela even yelled “Lans!” because she watches her videos.

My take: who shined right away?

  • Anthony: charming, humble, and that “heart is here in the Philippines” line landed perfectly. Fan favorite material.
  • Bela: the most expressive one of the night. Starstruck by everyone, but not annoying.
  • Raheel: quiet but with a clear dream. Underdog vibes.
  • Robbie: we haven’t seen much of him yet, but remember him. You’ll find out why later (spoiler: he has a secret).

Which of the 16 housemates stuck with you first? Comment below, I want to know if we have the same first impressions.

Our analysis: who has a head start?

It’s only Day 2, so all we have are first impressions. But in PBB, first impressions matter a lot. The housemates who are comfortable in front of the camera right away are usually the ones viewers notice first, even before any big task.

Prediction: three who will rise fast

  • Anthony. His “heart is here in the Philippines” line is the easiest to clip and share. When your first soundbite lands that well, a fanbase forms fast.
  • Bela. She’s expressive and has no filter. She could be the comic relief, or she could be a lightning rod. It depends on how she gets edited in the coming days.
  • Raheel. Quiet, but with a clear dream (the Olympics). Underdog stories tend to last in this format.

Nomination watch

There are no nominations yet, so this is just a guess. We think the housemates who barely showed up on the first night are in more danger right now than the loud ones. In reality TV, it’s harder to vote for someone you don’t know. So for us, the real enemy for some housemates in the first week is screen time, not their fellow housemates.

Compared to other seasons

In the first Collab Edition, the Big Winner was a duo, Brent Manalo and Mika Salamanca. So in this format, it’s not just a solo game. Who becomes your tandem matters too. Pay attention to the pairs who clicked right away in the elevator: they might be the duos to watch.

If we had a poll right now

The question: *Who had the strongest first impression?* Our vote: Anthony, but Bela is close behind. Who’s your vote? Write it in the comments, and we’ll come back to it when the first nominations happen.
