PBB Collab 3.0 Day 3 Recap: Calix’s Pageant Walk, Nicole’s Bisaya Lessons, and the Rice That Never Got Cooked

The first days in Kuya’s house are always full of small scenes. No big task or nominations yet. Just bonding, laughter, and the house chores that show you who the responsible ones are.

That’s what the middle part of the Day 3 full episode of PBB Collab Edition 3.0 (October 26, 2026) was like. And honestly, I enjoyed it more than some of the task episodes.

Nicole learns Bisaya in the girls’ bedroom

While Primo and Robbie talked about how new everything was (and whether they believe in God), the girls’ bedroom turned into an impromptu Bisaya class.

What they taught Nicole:

  • malami (lami): delicious
  • langga: love, darling
  • kaon: eat, and “kaon ta” means “let’s eat”

There was one more word, “langgam,” which they said means “bird.” It’s so cute that just hours after Nicole said language was her disadvantage, the ates were already teaching her.

Calix’s pageant walk

It started as a chat between Shea, Winwyn and Calix about pageants. Turns out Calix is Mister Teen of the Year of Misters of Filipinas. He was supposed to join an international pageant this November, and that exact day was supposed to be the start of his reign. But he chose PBB.

Of course, the housemates weren’t going to settle for just a kwento. They made him walk.

Swimwear and formal wear, even without a stage

Swimwear segment first. “Welcome our candidate in their swimwear! Calix from Pampanga!” Then formal wear, complete with a “watch pose” and slow-mo. Everyone was screaming. Bianca’s closing line: Calix is already the winner in the housemates’ hearts.

This was the moment I saw that Calix knows how to carry himself even when he’s being teased. He wasn’t embarrassed, he played along. That’s a big deal inside the house.

Winwyn and Shea: “Sana walang mag-away”

After the walk, Winwyn and Shea had a talk. Winwyn’s prayer: that nobody fights, and if there are misunderstandings, they talk it out. No sumbatan, no backstabbing. A mature take, coming from a housemate who’s already a mom.

First morning: “Pinoy Ako” as the alarm

The next morning, Orange and Lemons’ “Pinoy Ako” woke them up. They even sang along. Such a throwback, and the production really has a sense of humor.

Jeo was the standout at making beds: straight, square, no wrinkles. He said he learned it from his tito, who trained in hotel room setup, and his parents taught him to be organized and clean too. He even fixed “Natnat”‘s bed.

Robbie, who was still looking for his secret mission partner, hit the gym first with the other boys. Anthony is the type who works out partly to connect with others too.

The mystery of the uncooked rice

This is my favorite scene. Bela was supposedly assigned to the rice, but Calix volunteered so she let him. Then she took a shower. When the boys came back from fixing their stuff, there was no rice. It had been washed, but never put in the rice cooker.

Who’s to blame? Nobody owned up directly. “He washed it,” said Lans. “He said he forgot.” In the end, breakfast was bread and the rice waited until lunch. Bianca even told Bela: you don’t know what happened, but it’s okay because there’s bread.

A small thing, but this is how issues start in Kuya’s house. Sana nga matupad ang dasal ni Winwyn.

Our analysis: house chores as part of the game

Why the uncooked rice matters

Outside, a pot of uncooked rice means nothing. Inside Kuya’s house, it’s the kind of thing people remember on nomination night. Not because anyone did something bad, but because everyone is hungry and tired. We think the housemates will be more careful about kitchen duties from now on.

Wins from this morning

  • Calix: his pageant walk was the best way for the housemates to get to know him. When you can laugh at yourself, it’s hard for people to get annoyed with you.
  • Jeo: his hotel-style bed isn’t just for show. It shows he’s organized, a trait that helps in tasks.
  • Nicole: learning Bisaya right away. This is a housemate who doesn’t complain about her disadvantage and finds a way around it.

Prediction

Winwyn is the one who prayed “sana walang mag-away.” Our guess: she’ll also be the first to step in when there’s a tampuhan. And we think the first tampuhan will happen in the kitchen before the second week is over.

Compared to other seasons

Almost every season has a “food issue”: ulam that ran out, burnt rice, or food that got set aside. What’s different in Collab 3.0 is that they laughed this one off. That’s a sign the group is still getting along well.

Poll

*Who’s to blame for the uncooked rice?* Honestly, the footage gives no clear answer, so our vote: the whole house. Forgetting was a team effort.
