PBB Collab 3.0 Memory Box: Calix’s Mama’s Pillow and the Ukulele That Revealed Mikee as Collaborator

You know that episode you start watching for the tsismis, and you end up crying? This is that one.

In the last part of the Day 3 full episode of Pinoy Big Brother Collab Edition 3.0 (October 26, 2026), a box with each housemate’s name appeared in the living room. Inside: things from their own homes. And by the end, the question from Robbie’s reveal finally got answered: who has the ukulele?

The task letter Winwyn read

Kuya called Winwyn into the confession room and had her open a round container. It was a task letter, and she read it to the housemates right away. The message: before starting a new chapter, they should look back at where they came from, their homes. The boxes held items carrying memories and stories of the people who matter most to them.

While everyone was chatting, one person was watching something else: Robbie, waiting to see whose box the clue would come out of.

Calix and his Mommy’s pillow

Calix‘s box had a pillow. But not just any pillow. He’s had it since he was born, and he’s slept next to it since he was a baby.

It turns out it was his mama’s pillow. Calix’s mom passed away when he was only two. He has no memories of her, he can’t remember her face, and he never got to hug her before she died. So whenever he has a problem, he hugs the pillow, and it feels like all the weight disappears. Like his mama hugging him back, he said.

What he said, straight to the camera: “Mommy, if you’re seeing me now… every win that I get… it’s all for you.”

Why this hit so hard

Just earlier, he was the one strutting and getting teased during the pageant walk. Now, this. In the confession room, he added that he realized his mama is still with him even though she’s gone, especially now that he’s inside the house. This is why I watch PBB. In one day, you get to see the whole person.

Nicole’s teddy and the basketball

After all the crying, we needed something lighter. Nicole delivered. First, she brought out something her friends always see when they walk into her house. Then a teddy that’s “pangit” now, as she put it herself in Tagalog, so everyone laughed. It was a gift from her nana in England, and she couldn’t sleep without it for about six years.

Another housemate also pulled out a basketball. For others, it’s just a ball, but it means way more to him. The footage didn’t make it clear who he was or his full story, so I’ll wait for the full version first.

Mikee and the ukulele: she’s the Kapuso collaborator

“My heart is racing,” Mikee said before opening her box. It was something big. And when it opened: a ukulele. “It’s my uke.” Someone asked if it was from Chorus, and yes, it was. Everyone got excited (“We can jam!”), but we already knew it meant something else.

In the confession room, Kuya gave Mikee an important mission: from now on, she’s Kuya’s collaborator. She has a secret task, and she has a partner, another housemate who is also a collaborator.

So what now?

Robbie is the Kapamilya collaborator and Mikee is the Kapuso collaborator, and that got confirmed on Day 4. But at the end of this episode, they still didn’t know they were partners. Robbie already had a clue. Mikee didn’t yet. Update: On Day 4, they found each other through an English rap. Read the full story of the Robbie and Mikee collaborators reveal.

In the teaser for the next episode, more housemates will share: a dad who went to jail, a mom’s jewelry, and a lolo who paid for school even though they were poor. I won’t name them until I’ve seen the full episode.

Fan take

Hiding the clue inside such an emotional task was genius. While we were all crying over Calix, Robbie was already strategizing. Iba talaga si Kuya.

What would you put in your memory box? And do you think Robbie and Mikee can complete their mission without anyone noticing?

Our analysis: why the memory box task is so strong

Emotion as the equalizer

In this task, there are no celebrities and no regulars. Everyone is just a child, a grandchild or a parent. We think this is the task that puts celebrity and non-celebrity housemates on the same level in viewers’ eyes. Calix, a non-celebrity, became the most talked-about.

Prediction for Calix

From the pageant walk to his mama’s pillow, just one day passed and his story was already complete for viewers. When a housemate has an emotional anchor like that, the chance of an early eviction is usually low. For us, his position is already strong, though that’s just our guess.

The clue hidden in the tears

While everyone was crying, Robbie was thinking about the mission. The structure was beautiful: the most emotional task was used to reveal the clue. Now we know Mikee is his collab partner, so next, watch how they manage to talk without being obvious. The answer is in the Day 4 post.

Compared to other seasons

A task with items from family is almost a tradition in PBB. But Collab 3.0 added a twist: it was an emotional task and a clue reveal at the same time. We think that’s smarter than just a crying session.

Poll

*Whose memory box hit you the hardest?* For us, Calix’s. The item was simple, but the story was the heaviest.
